Our History:
My name is Lyn, I met my husband, Joel in 2006. He had a Yorkie in the past that was his wonderful little companion. I had no history with Yorkies. For 20 years I raised, trained, showed, and hunt tested German Short-haired Pointers (GSP). Joel quickly convinced me that we should purchase a Yorkie.
I was uncertain about a small dog and had some conditions; the little dog had to do something, like hunt. Little did I know Yorkies have strong hunting instincts because they were originally bred to hunt vermin in factories. It didn’t take us long to find a puppy to buy, we named him Gizzy and brought him home to live with us and Sharlee my GSP.
It didn’t take long for Gizzy to start hunting with our GSP. It was natural for him to use his extremely sensitive nose to track and point, grouse and quail, he also retrieves and swims. I was extremely impressed with his attitude and learning ability. I took him to obedience class where he learned the basics very quickly.
Joel and I were interested in Agility, so Joel took Gizzy to Agility class where they excelled as an Agility team and have become a favorite at the AKC Agility trials in the North West. It didn’t take long and I wanted another one of these exciting fun little dogs. This began my love affair with The “Big Dog” in a “little package”
To let Yorkie lovers know that Yorkies are more than a lap dog.
They are good companion dogs and they are easy to travel with. They love to be involved in family actives, camping, shopping, yard work or anything you are doing.
They are easy to train, which makes them great competition dogs, some competitive events they do well in are Agility, Obedience, Tracking, Barn hunting, Fly ball and many more.

Raising Super Puppies
Our puppies are handled and exposed to many different things in a protected environment, like:
*Rides in a wagon around the house,
*Different floor textures wood, carpet, grass, dirt, etc.,
*Nail trimming and brushing,
*Different noises and experiences.
The goal is to produce a puppy that isn’t afraid of anything he/she may encounter. All this happens before you get your puppy, it is similar to what Guide Dogs for the Blind do with their puppies before being placed in homes to be raised.
