Our mommies are carefully selected and tested before they get bred. Our mommies and stud dogs go through a long testing process to determine whether they are going to be breeding dogs or not.
We purchased these two female pups last Spring for breeding, One of them made a breeding dog and the other did not. Let me explain why. Pine, the Chocolate female is a breeding quality Yorkie, She has excellent conformation, nice strong bones, beautiful coat, she is very cuddly, likes everyone, very sweet, and out going. She has the perfect temperament for raising babies. Kyanne, the Parti female is not a breeding dog. She also has beautiful conformation and coat, wonderful temperament, fun to be around. She is the perfect LITTLE dog, and that’s the problem. She didn’t even make 5 pounds, much to small to breed.
Kyanne will go on to be my Agility dog and close companion. All of our Yorkie dogs have a place in our hearts, they don’t always turn out how we plan, but we find their positive qualities and let them excel in what they are good at.
